Hello there!

My name is Aman Multani,  and I am thrilled to be your child's first-grade teacher this year. As I am new to Addison, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share my background!

A little about myself:

My parents immigrated to the Bay Area from India in the late 80s, and opened our family restaurant in San Francisco. I was born & raised in foggy Daly City, CA alongside my older brother and younger sister. I graduated from Westmoor High School, then attended UC San Diego for both my B.A. in Political Science and my Masters in Education/Teaching Credential. I taught 6 years in Fremont Unified School District (2 in first grade, 4 in kindergarten) and am excited to return back to first grade!

My goal as a teacher is to always create an environment where students feel safe, cared about, and excited to learn. I value play-based learning, a multicultural education, and your child's social-emotional well being. Additionally, I emphasize open communication and collaboration between home and school. I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or insights you may have about your child's progress or individual needs. I believe that by working together, we can provide a nurturing environment that supports your child's growth and development!

First grade is full of exciting challenges and immense growth; your first grader will be reading longer texts and manipulating numbers like never before! I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you and creating a strong classroom community. :)

Best,

Ms. Multani
